IBAS EXAM REGISTRATION
Registration Process:
  1. Complete the below registration form in full.
  2. Select the desired exam using the drop-down menu. IBAS member employees registering for Auto Part 1 (Basic), Auto Part 2 (Extension), General Bylaws, or Auto Bylaws: select ‘Exam name-Member’ option to access exams free of charge.
  3. IBAS’s online exam service, Captus Press, will send an email confirmation containing a unique confirmation code, keep this code for your records.
  4. Fill out the Proctor Form and email it to IBAS at education@ibas.ca. If the exam is being written at the IBAS office, the Proctor Form does not need to be completed.
  5. Once the Proctor Form has been received, IBAS will approve the registration.
  6. Captus Press will process the payment plus GST, according to the pricing table below.
  7. Both the candidate and proctor will receive exam access instructions from autoresponse@captus.com. If the codes are not received within 24 hours of the chosen exam date, please contact IBAS at education@ibas.ca or 306-525-8001.

Examination Availability

Examinations are available to be written at any day and time that is agreed upon by a student and their proctor. It is recommended to write the exam during the work week (Monday – Friday), as technical support will not be available during weekends or stat holidays.

Exams can be written up to 3 times. If a passing grade is not achieved on the 3rd attempt, a 6-month waiting period will come into effect. Please see IBAS’s Education Policies for more information.

The following terms and conditions of registration constitute a legal agreement between you and the Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS) and Captus Press Inc. for access to the IBAS Online Examinations.
